Get back my EBS home page !

A good design for a product does not mean that it is good for others.  Oracle takes the design of PeopleSoft home page and apply it to EBS R12.1.3 or higher.  The result: everybody hates it.  The first question user will ask: could you give me back the old one ?

Here are the steps to get it back to normal:

Profile Options

Dropdown Navigator
*  = default
bold = change the value to
italic = display value
() = internal value

EBS < 12.1.3: Profile Option: FND Slideout menu (FND_SLIDEOUT_MENU)  = Yes*/No (Y*/N)
EBS >=12.1.3: FND: Disable Navigator and Favorites Rich Menu (FND_DISABLE_NAVIGATOR_AND_FAVORITES_RICH_MENU) =True / False* (TRUE/FALSE*)

Menu Navigator
EBS < 12.1.3: Profile Option: Enable Configurable HomePage (FND_CONFIG_HOMEPAGE_ENABLED) = Yes*/No (Y*/N)
EBS >= 12.1.3: FND: Disable Configurable Home Page (FND_CONFIG_HOMEPAGE_DISABLED) = True/False* (TRUE/FALSE*)

OA Framework Personalization

Functional Administrator -> Personalization -> Application Catalog

Enterprise Search
Document Path: /oracle/apps/fnd/search/webui/AppsSearchRG
Personalize Page
Under function "Applications Configurable Home Page", Responsibility "Functional Administrator"
Change the Site Level value of Row Layout -  Rendered to False

Worklist 
Document Path: /oracle/apps/fnd/framework/navigate/webui/NewHomePG
Under function "Applications Configurable Home Page", Responsibility "Functional Administrator"
Change the Site Level of Flexible Layout: (favNtfLayout) -  Rendered to False


After making these changes, I get back my EBS home page which I am comfortable with. Yeah !
