Playing Oracle Web Conference File in Windows Vista / 7

Playing Oracle Web Conference file (imtPlaybackXXX.exe) in Windows XP (using IE 7) should be fine, but it's not working if you use IE8 or run it in Windows Vista or Windows 7.

As I don't want to mess up the IE setting just for playing this type of file, I finally figure out a way to play this Web Conference file in any Windows platform.

1. Rename the file from imtPlaybackXXX.exe to imtPlaybackXXX.rar
2. Use WinRAR to extract the playback directory to any place
3. Goto playback\[XXX]\console\ directory.  Use Internet Explorer to run the file imtPlaybackConsole.html
4. Click the ActivX control warning bar and select "Allow block content"
5. A new browser will start up. Resize this browser to fit your screen
6. Enjoy !
